Sweet Chili Ting Sauce
Hand's down a top 3 sauce for me and not 3.
Everyone needs a little sweet sauce in their life from time to time, and my Asian-inspired sweet chili sauce is absolutely that. It’s sweet and glossy with just a touch of heat. You can use it as a topping for an extra boost of flavor, glaze for meat, or serve it as a dipping sauce. But my favorite way to enjoy it is tossed with some fried wings.
And guess what? You can make it in under 10 minutes!

How to Make Sweet Chili Ting Sauce
I love how simple this sauce is. In a matter of 10 minutes, this sauce comes together in a few easy steps:
- Sautee your aromatics
- Add in the rest of the ingredients
- Simmer and mix
- Add in cornstarch slurry to thicken
Minimal work, minimal cleaning, and ultimate flavor. That's really it!
What Ingredients do we need?
The ingredients for this sauce are probably already sitting in your pantry.
Sugar is the main ingredient and gives the sauce its signature sweetness. From there, we need some garlic, ginger, and a slight touch of chili flakes for some heat. Everything is brought together with vinegar, soy sauce, and water, followed by a cornstarch slurry to thicken it up.
And that's it. Let's get to cooking!
