Cinnamon Rolls
Hands down the best cinnamon rolls recipe on the internet. The amount of people who have not only requested this recipe but also made it on repeat is incredible. It’s one that’s tried, tested, and truly loved. And trust me, once you take that first bite, you'll never look at cinnamon rolls the same way again. The best part about that bite, you made them.

What Makes These So Special?
I would say two things. The heavy cream and the maple butter spread. The heavy cream takes these cinnamon rolls to another level, making them incredibly soft, fluffy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Then you have the maple butter spread at the bottom of the pan, which creates those irresistible, gooey, buttery, sweet bottoms that every cinnamon roll needs. Put the two together, and you have a cinnamon roll that's hard to beat.

The Main Components:
- Soft & Fluffy Dough: Made with generous amounts of butter, milk, and eggs, almost like a brioche bun. This gives our cinnamon rolls that incredibly soft, fluffy, pillowy texture that makes every bite melt in your mouth.
- Cinnamon Filling: Packed with cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar to create that rich, sweet, cinnamon packed center that every great cinnamon roll needs.
- Maple Butter Spread: The secret to the best cinnamon rolls is that irresistible, gooey bottom. This maple butter spread creates a sweet, buttery layer underneath each roll while helping keep everything extra soft and moist.
- Cream Cheese Frosting: Every cinnamon roll needs a delicious frosting to bring all the flavors together. Spread this creamy, rich frosting over your rolls while they're still warm and watch it melt into every swirl. Pure perfection.

Keys to Success:
Give your dough enough time to rise. Don't rush this step! Allowing your dough to properly rise is what helps create those incredibly soft, fluffy, and chewy cinnamon rolls.
Knead your dough thoroughly. Make sure everything comes together into a smooth, elastic dough. Developing that gluten is what gives your dough the structure it needs to rise and expand.
The second rise is just as important as the first. Once your rolls are shaped and placed in the pan, give them enough time to double in size. This is key to achieving that light, pillowy texture.
Whip your maple butter spread. Make sure to whip it until you get a light, fluffy, almost mousse like consistency. This helps you spread it evenly across the bottom of your pan.
Heavy cream is your best friend here. Don't be afraid to be generous, but don't overdo it! Pour the cream between the rolls to cover most of the maple butter spread, with a splash on top of each roll. This is what helps make them extra soft, moist, and gooey.

Reheating
To reheat, simply pop your cinnamon rolls in the oven at a low temperature (275°F) for about 10-15 minutes or in the microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute until warm. Top with a little extra frosting before digging in and enjoy!
Tools Needed
- Electric Mixer: Much easier then doing it by hand. A stand mixer also works as well.
- Deep Dish Baking Pan: The larger the better here so you have room. The high walls on the side also help when your rolls rise. You can use a 9 x 13 baking pan but I ended up using one that was slightly larger at 11 x 17.
